How much should you spend for a catering service depends on how elaborate you want your party or the event to be . That means the extent of service you expect the caterer to do for you depends on how much budget you are willing to spend too .

Catering service providers usually have  a packages ready for you to choose from. And high – end caterers are willing to cater on your specific needs from the little details like the colors of your desserts to the motif and theme of your occasion .

Asking for how much you should spend for a caterer is normal. The answer is simply relative . What we pay for most of all is the service. The service that comes before, during, and even after the party.

And now the question: how much for this package? Can I get back my money’s worth? It really varies .

The price range you normally get these days is from P175 per head to P190 per head. Well-known caterers can demand for P200 per head and up.

You normally get four ( 4 ) to five ( 5 ) courses with a round of drinks . 1 or 2 desserts are also incuded. They can come as cakes, sweets, delicacies, salads, fruits, or chocolates. Roasted calf, turkey, or lechon is not inclusive. You get them for paying extra. Turkey, lechon, or roasted calf can be a free add-on from your caterer when you book for a big number.

Normally – caterers would only accept at least 50 persons per cater. Others though are willing to dive down to 30 persons minimum. I am talking about the standard full-set up package of most caterers.

Inclusive with the full set-up are linens, utensils, chairs, decorations, and the like. You don’t even have to worry for waiters. They are all part of the package. Thus many prefer to hire caterers. Hosts can enjoy with the guests instead of getting worried how to serve all their guests.

One of the caterers job is to keep the area clean and orderly before leaving it. They see to it that they leave not a mess after the celebration . Hosts are usually too tired entertaining guests after the party . Thus for another reason why a caterer can come out handy until the end .
