Motives Cosmetics will be a Name Brand
Hello, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I’ve been pretty effing lazy latterly when it comes to mix and matching colors. On a daily basis, probabilities are I awakened late and do not have much time to put more than minimal effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, occasionally eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it wasn’t till I received a bunch of Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely i have been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.
Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a moderately new line that isn’t enormous, but definitely should be. It isn’t super pricey, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t have to be at once related with cost. This is not one of those corporations. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.
It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I just wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colours. I tried on some different shades over the course of a week to get a understanding of all of the colors. They don’t seem to be super-heavy, so it’s possibly not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works pretty well for wearing to parties and the like. You may also mix the colours with a little water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you intend to be out for hours at a time and do not need motives makeup wearing out before you do.
I am routinely not keen on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF fifteen ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and did not have a cakey finish. While I will not wear it every day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I’m on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )
Last saturday I was headed to a party, so I thought it’d be delightful to layer their new gloss ( coming directly on the site over the wealthy Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a huge quantity of compliments, and the boyfriend liked it, so when I awakened next day still a touch lagered and prepared to wear a fun outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : tasty breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.
At last, i have been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days rather than my usual cheek stain. It hasn’t made a giant difference, but that is the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got a large amount of compliments, I adore Motives Cosmetics !
